Dirab Road Tunnel GRC

A warm sandy-colored tunnel inspired by the desert provides visual calm within Riyadh’s fast-moving environment. The lower section is equipped with precast concrete panels for impact and abrasion resistance, while the upper section features GRC panels mounted on a hidden stainless steel system, with galvanized accessories according to ASTM standards and engineered expansion joints. The system is designed to withstand vibrations, high temperatures, and wind pressure inside the tunnel. This project perfectly combines durability, identity, and smart engineering solutions.
